Ninth street expresso is the BEST! Also this site is wonderful. It’s sweet cuppin’ cakin’ all over the place. (PS I went to a restaurant the other day where they had a drink called fhwqhwads (sp?), after HR. I was so excited).

Thank you! Also what kind of awesome place has Homestar-themed beverages? I want to go to there.
Can you recommend like, two good recipes from The Moosewood Cookbook? I have a copy and everything I’ve made from it has been lackluster…(I was also underwhelmed by the restaurant…maybe me ‘n Moosewood just don’t get along).
But any suggestions would be totally appreciated!

I totally get what you mean; I think a lot of their stuff is hit or miss but I like using the book for kind of template references, if that makes sense? I do a lot of the soup recipes (the gingered carrot, the curried squash & mushroom) but I don’t always follow them strictly. I’m also a total sucker for the whole handwritten-pages thing, so.

Ah! Why didn’t I think of the soups? Thanks :)
